Mateus Isaac, a Brazilian windsurfer, has transitioned from the PWA Windsurfing World Tour to Olympic iQFOiL racing, and now competes in SailGP.

Isaac’s journey began with windsurfing, where he honed his skills on the PWA circuit. In 2021, he joined the SEVERNE team, which broadened his horizons and led him to embrace the iQFOiL class, a new Olympic discipline. This transition allowed him to connect with a wider sailing community.

His dedication and talent have earned him a spot on the Mubadala Brazil SailGP Team. This team is the first South American team in SailGP, marking a significant milestone for sailing in the region.

Balancing his SailGP commitments with his Olympic aspirations, Isaac continues to compete in iQFOiL with the goal of participating in the LA 2028 Olympics. His journey showcases his versatility and commitment to the sport.
