Few years after its launch, the Maxi Edmond de Rotschild, the giant foiling trimaran from the Gitana stable specializing in oceanic flight, offered a very special outing in the harbor of Lorient to the riders from the Lorient Glisse & foil association.

Skippered by Charles Caudrelier and Franck Cammas, the hydrofoiling trimaran held its own with the association’s kite foilers at more than 30 knots. Among the kitefoilers who experienced this memorable moment, we will easily recognize Pierre Canevet and Billy Guy Maupas, the latter even having the luxury of an incredible “tow up” at the end of Gitana’s mast. Also note that Morgan LagraviΓ¨re, member of the Gitana crew, is also a very good kitefoiler.

Enjoy these breathtaking images that we owe to the PolaRYSE teams on behalf of the Gitana Team.
